BREW for the BAY Sag Harbor

Kidd Squid, in collaboration with the Cornell Cooperative Extension, created a brand new brew to help raise funds and awareness for two local Sag Harbor projects – eelgrass revitalization and oyster bed restoration.  All purchases of BREW for the BAY Sag Harbor directly funded these two initiatives.

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County’s Back to the Bays Stewardship Initiative’s mission is to protect water quality; restore commercially and recreationally important finfish and shellfish; rebuild coastal habitat; maintain biodiversity in our bays; and protect our shorelines from erosion.

BREW for the BAY Sag Harbor was brewed with Sagaponack-grown Foster Farm 2-row malt barley and hopped with an experimental hop developed and grown in upstate NY.  At 6.6% abv, it was a smooth and hazy ipa.

This was an extremely limited run, with just enough brewed to fund these two projects. Enjoy fresh, think local, and drink local.  Together we made a difference.
